Once I started reading the book, I could not put it down. It was filled with many surprises. The characters were well developed, I could actually visualize some of them.
CK-One by Fred Edward Powell
Once the murders began, the killer couldn't stop. He thought he had to kill every bad cop he could find and get revenge for what happened to his mother.
When Jamal was very young a horrible cop had shot his mother in the back and paralyzed her. He grew up and hunted what he believed were bad cops. He would mutilate them and take their badge and gun for souvenirs. He found the cop that shot his mother and cut his head off.
This was the starting point for the police to connect all the murders together and hunt down the cop killer.
It's a good story, but not all-encompassing.
